The in-house restaurant, though only open from Wednesday to Saturday, served an impressive selection of Rösti - a definite highlight. What stood out most was the hotel's value for money, especially when compared to pricier options inside Basel during the bustling Art Fair. The peaceful surroundings, complemented by the sounds of church bells and birds, added to the overall charm. Plus, the proximity to a large supermarket made it easy to stock up on essentials. If you're seeking a blend of value and comfort for your travels, Altes Vogtshaus is worth considering.
